Mr. Charles Okechukwu Onunaiju is the director of the Centre for China Studies in Nigeria. His duties include to organize and direct research activities into several key dimensions of China-Africa Cooperation. Prior to the founding of the centre for China Studies, Mr. Charles Onunaiju was head of foreign and diplomatic Desk of some key Nigerian Newspapers, including, Daily Trust Newspaper, Leadership Newspaper and regular contributor, up to now to Beijing Review and China Africa Magazines.

Mr. Onunaiju holds Masters degree in Philosophy and International Studies, author of three books and contributor to scholarly international journals including journal of“International Critical Thought”published by the prestigious Chinese Academic of Social Science. He has delivered annual lectures on China-Africa at Nigeria's foremost and Prestigious Defence Institution, the national Defence College.
