Ivan Antimov Marinov, the Director of the Marketing Institute since June 2017. He held senior positions in the Ministry of Supply and State reserves during 1973 and 1981. also the same positions in the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy and Energy since 1981, at the same time he was President of the National Union of Consumer Organizations in Bulgaria from 2004 to 2007, also was the Executive Director of the State Consolidation Company from 2012 to 2017.

Since October 2018, after the Council of Ministers' decision for the establishment of the Global Partnership Center jointly with the People's Republic of China in the context of the“16+1”Initiative to promote cooperation with the Central and Eastern European countries, he has been appointed as Chairman from the Bulgarian side.
