Dr George N. Tzogopoulos is an expert in media and politics/international relations as well as Chinese affairs. He is Director of EU-China Programmes at the Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE) and Visiting Lecturer at the European Institute affiliated with it and is teaching international relations and energy international relations at the Department of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace. George recently joined the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA) as a Research Associate where he is, inter alia, moderating its recently launched online debates on several international themes. Moreover, he cooperates with the China-CEE Institute in Budapest. In the summer of 2017 he was a selected as "young leader" by China's Diplomatic Academy. In March 2019 he was an IVLP Fellow of the US Department of State.
