Ong Tee Keat is the founding chairman of the Centre for New Inclusive Asia Studies ( CNIA ), He is a strong believer in value creation for the well being of the human civilisation.The new thinktank outfit was borne out of this passion.

He was trained as a mechanical engineer by profession. During the early years of his engineering career, he was tasked to lead in various managerial roles of key industry player in the private sector. He is widely known for his multi-lingual oratory as well as writing skills. He served the nation as a Member of Parliament for a distin-guished 24 years, of which ten long years he had been presiding over the Malaysian parliamentary sitting as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

He also worked as the political secretary to senior minister, as deputy minister and full minister while simultaneously sharing his passion and knowledge with the many associations, organizations and institutions, especially the young and the under-privileged.

Currently he hosts Chairmanships, Directorships, Presidencies, and advisory posts in multiple international and domestic corporate companies, NGOs and chari-table organizations.
