Christer Ljungwall

Vice-president

Dr. Christer Ljungwall is co-founder and vice-president of ENC Center for Global Affairs. He is a well-known China political-economy specialist, and an expert in economic development with particular focus on Asia. He is also visiting Professor at Peking University-HSBC Business School in P.R. China. 

Dr. Ljungwall has held positions over the years as Sr. diplomat at the Embassy of Sweden in P.R. China; Sr. Country Economist with the Asian Development Bank; Assistant Professor at National School of Development, Peking University; and Sr. Financial controller at Lear Corporation. He is affiliated Professor at Copenhagen Business School. 

Dr. Ljungwall is the author of 35+ academic journal articles in English, 150+ reports, and five books. He is a regularly invited speaker on Chinese and Asian economic and political affairs, and innovation. He is member of the Scientific Advisory Board (the Knowledge Economy), P.R.C; member of The Growth Net, New York. Dr. Ljungwall received his PhD in economics from Gothenburg University in 2003 (Essays on China’s Economic Performance During the Reform Period. Ekonomiska Studier, No. 128.
