38-year-old Ronald Lintang is a local employee of the under-construction Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway project.
He says it is quite an honor for him to join the project that will bring Indonesia modern transportation technology.
"My name is Ronald Lintang. I am 38 years old. I work as an assistant engineer for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway project. It is getting better since I join and work in this project, especially for income, and also knowledge and experience of work. This modern and effective train transport system would significantly boost the economy alongside the route served by the train. Through this project, Indonesia benefits from transfer of technology and experience from China. Before I worked here, I know little about China. Now we are not only colleagues, but also friends. My Chinese colleagues respect my profession, and recognize my contribution. They trust me and recognize my work. It makes me feel that my work is valuable. I
