Youths in Asia find opportunities to further their career under the China -proposed Belt and Road Initiative.

Lai Yuyang from Malaysia is a lucky man to board the train of China's development.

Lai co-founded a famous massage health club with his college students in the new business incubation park of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2016.

They hope to take advantages of the Belt and Road Initiative and spread Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) around the world.

The health club is not big, but well appointed.

Said Lai Yuyang, Owner of Health Club,"When I was a child, my parents use Chinese Traditional Medicine to cure people, including scraping and cupping. In Malaysia, people preserve some Chinese tradition therapies. "

Traditional Chinese medicine has always been an important part of the commercial activities of the ancient silk road.

As one of the first neighboring countries to support and participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, traditional Chinese medicine is also very popular in Malaysia.

Lai decided to study Chinese medicine in China on the recommendation of an elder local doctor.

"There are some students graduated from Chinese medicine college who live near my home. Among them is an elder TCM doctor. He strongly recommend me to study Chinese medicine in China. Our Chinese medicine teacher come from China. It's better to study TCM in China."

After more than two years of efforts, Lai's health club not only makes profits, but also cultivates an entrepreneurial team with more than 20 students.

More importantly, it has accumulated valuable clinical and management experience.

The second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will be held from April 25 to 27 in Beijing.

Lai Yuyang said, with the gradual impact of the Belt and Road, Traditional Chinese Medicine will help more people along the route.
