BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhua) -- A joint venture formed by PowerChina Peruvian representative office and a local company under the Sinohydro brand has formally signed general contract for the construction of Chupaca hospital service improvement project in Peru, announced PowerChina on its website.

The project is located in Chupaca Province, Junín Region, in an altitude of about 3263 meters. Covering an area of 12,525.02 square meters, the hospital is a five-story structure. The main construction content includes temporary hospitals, buildings, sanitation installations, electrical installations, mechanical installations, communication installations, and medical equipmentinstallations.

This project is the seventh hospital project signed by PowerChina in Peru. PowerChina will give full play to its advantages to fulfill the contract and continue to contribute to local development.
