Belt and Road Studies Network:
Call for BRI-related Research Reports by Global Think Tanks
Belt and Road Studies Network (BRSN) is an important platform for think tanks of all countries to enhance exchanges of ideas and offer consulting services to policy-making. Since its inauguration, the network has been effectively fulfilling its duties, building an open mechanism of academic exchanges and cooperation, serving international think tanks, international and regional organizations and researchers of various countries, and promoting researches and exchanges on topics related to the BRI.
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI. Over the past decade, the BRI has changed from concept to practice and achieved remarkable results, and the initiative has become a platform for international cooperation and popular global public goods. In order to summarize the experience of the past 10 years and map out future development direction, our network is now launching a call for reports from think tanks and researchers around the world.

I.Topics
We have 27 optional topics, which include researches on conceptual value and macro policies of the BRI, cooperative mechanism and fields, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges under the BRI.

II.Forms of participation
Think tanks and researchers can participate via the following two forms:
1.Submission of papers.
Choose from the topics above, and the title of the paper could be determined by the author. The length of the paper should be 4000-10000 words, and the format should conform to the academic norms, including abstract, keywords, body part, bibliography and citation notes. Please refer to the following details for examples of citations:

For materials cited in Chinese annotation articles, please indicate the author's name, document name, publisher, publication time, and page number of the data. Examples of the format are as follows:

For English annotations:
The requirements for foreign language annotations are basically the same as those for Chinese annotations. Article titles should be marked in quotation marks; book titles and journal/newspaper names displayed in italics; monographs indicated the place of publication. Examples of the format are as follows:

As for the Internet materials, it is needed to indicate the author's name, document title, detailed URL and access time.
2. Thematic research
You are encouraged to refer to the selected topics, carry out monographic study according to your interest and finish the in-depth research reports. If any think tanks or experts are willing to carry out monographic study, please contact the committee secretariat for details.

IV. Selection and Release
The committee will organize experts to review the submitted papers, and the selected papers will be compiled and published in the first half of 2023, and they will also be released on the official website and BRSN journal(Belt and Road Review).
For monographic study results, the release time and form will be depended on the research progress.
V. Time and method of submitting papers
1. The deadline for submitting papers is March 31, 2023. Please submit papers through email, add the script to the email attachment and send it to: brsnservice@hotmail.com. Please indicate Belt and Road Studies Network Call for Research Reports in the subject of the email.
2.The time and method of submitting monographic study results will be determined according to the actual situation.
